GUINEA CONAKRY — BnB, Africa’s leading platform for seamless international money transfer powered by Cauridor, has announced professional footballer and Guinea international François Kamano as its newest Brand Ambassador. Kamano joins a growing network of ambassadors including Vickie Remoe, Young 15, and Saran Bah, who together represent BnB’s commitment to storytelling by and for West African communities.
Born in Conakry, Guinea, Kamano built his career on some of football’s biggest stages: coming through the ranks at SC Bastia, breaking out at FC Girondins de Bordeaux, and going on to play for Lokomotiv Moscow before moves to the Saudi Pro League and Russian Premier League, where he played for PFC Sochi until recently. A senior international since 2015, he remains a key figure for Guinea’s national team, the Syli National, with multiple Africa Cup of Nations appearances.
“François represents the values we live by every day: humility, honesty, hard work and a deep commitment to home.” said CEO Oumar Rafiou Barry. , ” He has represented Guinea on the world’s biggest stages, and we’re proud to build alongside him to bring reliable and accessible money transfer to our communities.”
Through this partnership, BnB and François Kamano will work together to raise awareness of digital remittances and strengthen BnB’s presence as a trusted, local-first alternative for the diaspora and their families back home.
“Today with BnB, we are using a local structure with an app that makes transfer easier compared to the solutions we had in the past,” said Kamano. “I’m proud to join a company built for our people and that makes it simpler for families to support each other, wherever in the world they are.”
Kamano’s addition builds on BnB’s ongoing strategy of partnering with prominent voices to help champion the mission to make cross-border money transfer faster, simpler, and more accessible for communities across West Africa and the diaspora.
