This role is Cauridor's marketing reference point in Senegal — the person who turns regional marketing strategy into real, local execution and gives the Regional Marketing Manager an on-the-ground presence they don't have themselves.
Rather than setting strategy, this role owns local delivery: adapting campaigns to the Senegalese market, running events and field marketing locally, keeping the brand consistent in-market, and flagging what's working (or not) back to the region. It exists because strategy designed centrally still needs someone who actually knows
Senegal — its language, culture, media, and market dynamics — to make it land.
Local Execution of Regional Strategy
- Execute the marketing plan set by the Regional Marketing Manager within Senegal, adapting campaigns to local language, culture, and market conditions.
- Provide local market intelligence and competitor observations back to the region to inform strategy.
- Track and report on local marketing spend against the budget allocated by the Regional Marketing Manager
Brand & Local Communication
- Ensure brand consistency across all Senegal-market materials, in coordination with regional brand guidelines.
- Coordinate creation and localization of marketing content (social, print, digital, PR) for the Senegalese audience, including French-language adaptation.
- Maintain day-to-day relationships with local agencies, vendors, and media contacts.
Digital Marketing (Local)
- Support execution of social media content and community engagement specific to Senegal.
- Monitor local digital performance and flag trends or issues to the Regional Marketing Manager.
Events & Field Marketing
- Plan and run local events, activations, and sponsorships in Senegal.
- Lead partnership marketing and local visibility efforts, working closely with the Senegal country team.
- This is likely the largest part of the role — the most direct, hands-on expression of "reference point" in-market.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Act as the marketing point of contact for the Senegal country team, working with local Sales, Operations, and Compliance to keep marketing activity aligned with what's happening on the ground.
- Escalate anything with legal, compliance, or brand risk to the Regional Marketing Manager rather than resolving unilaterally.
- 2–4 years of experience in marketing, communications, or a related field, ideally including event/field marketing.
- Strong understanding of the Senegalese market, media landscape, and culture.
- Comfortable executing a strategy set by someone else, with good judgment on when to adapt locally versus escalate.
- Hands-on content and social media experience.
- Experience working with local agencies/vendors.
- Fluent French; working proficiency in English strongly preferred, given regional reporting line.
- A real opportunity to contribute to financial inclusion and help shape the future of finance across Africa
- The ability to take true ownership of your work — we trust you to lead, build, and make things happen
- Exposure to meaningful, high-impact projects where your work directly influences the business
- A fast-moving, international environment where collaboration is natural and ideas are welcomed
- Flexibility in how you work, with a focus on outcomes
- Ongoing learning and growth as the company scales
- A competitive salary with performance-based bonuses
- Company health insurance
- Initial contact with the HR team
- Completion of a form and/or culture assessment
- Interview with the Regional Marketing Manager and the Country Managing Director
- Final interview with the Head of Marketing
