Your Impact Zone
- Responsible for writing the web services and APIs used by front-end developers and mobile application developers.
- Lead integrations of user-facing elements developed by front-end developers with server-side logic.
- Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with the front-end developers and other team members to establish objectives and design more functional, cohesive codes to enhance the user experience.
- Manage the hosting environment, including database administration and scaling an application to support load changes
- Develop functional and sustainable web applications with clean codes
- Conduct UI tests and optimize performance and troubleshoot and debug applications.
- Implement automated testing platforms and unit tests to ensure business needs are met, and allow for regression testing.
- Optimize web applications for performance and scalability.
- Participate in continuing education and training to remain current on best practices, learn new programming languages, and better assist other team members.
Your Toolkit for the Role
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience as a Backend Engineer (PHP and Laravel programming languages)
- Experience with SQL, MySLQ
- Version control, such as Git, CVS, or SVN
- Knowledge of SOAP and REST web services
- Ability to project manage.
